Welcome to the world of well-behaved, joyous pups! At Mad K9 Training, we believe that a harmonious life with your furry friend starts with proper training. From the moment your puppy comes home at around 8 weeks old, the journey towards good behavior and mutual understanding begins.
Our comprehensive programs cater to every need and aspiration you and your pup may have. Whether it's instilling basic manners, socialization, or preparing for dog sports, our training is designed to boost your dog's confidence and adaptability in various scenarios. Let's not forget the fun – training sessions are not just educational but also immensely enjoyable for both you and your furry companion.
As responsible dog owners, we understand that embarking on the training journey can be daunting. That's why we're proud to partner with the American Kennel Club (AKC) to provide you with unparalleled support and resources. Through the AKC Family Dog Program, we offer a series of courses that lay the groundwork for good behavior and pave the way for participation in AKC Sports.
Whether you're delving into basic obedience or gearing up for competitive events, one thing is certain: the bond between you and your furry friend will deepen with every training session. Join us on this rewarding journey towards a well-behaved, happy pup!
Dog Programs
The AKC Family Dog Program offers a comprehensive good manners curriculum suitable for all dogs, regardless of their breed heritage. Through engaging activities that bring joy to both canine companions and their human counterparts, dogs undergo socialization and forge enduring connections with their owners.
The AKC Canine Good Citizen™ (CGC) program provides a perfect framework for training your dog to become a polite member of society.
CGCA: Advanced CGC; The “CGCA” test may be done in a class, at shows, in pet stores or in the community.
What is AKC Community Canine? AKC Community Canine is the advanced level of AKC’s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program.
Now more than ever, fitness is important for both dogs and people. The most commonly recommended exercise to improve fitness is walking. Walking is considered a safe activity that improves muscular strength, circulation, memory, weight loss, increases energy, helps with sleep, and reduces stress. The American Heart Association recommends walking a minimum of 150 minutes per week. Participation in the AKC FIT DOG program will bring health benefits to both you and your dog.
